resources for transhuman life-philosophy
Transhuman life-philosophy advocates the limitless advancement of the human condition by applied reason. It is partly an extension of the humanist philosophical outlook, but it is especially concerned with the development of advanced technologies, such as those which could extend lifespan or enhance the powers of the mind.
Building beyond transhumanism, transhuman life-philosophy focuses on the traditional concerns of philosophy as they relate to individual life, such as direction and purpose in life, visions of a better life and a better world, consolation concerning death, transcendent modes of being, world view, values and ethics, feelings, hope, and the future of humanity.
