A Call to Unity
Whether
Iran should be a monarchy (aristocracy), a religious
republic (theocracy), a communist state (autocracy) or a
democratic republic (democracy) is a matter of
constitution and should be decided in a referendum by
all the people. However,
before coming to such a crucial decision people must be
aware of the platform of each group. After the fall of
the IR, there must be a provisional government and a
period of transition during which each faction should
present its polity to people and a national debate
should take place in high schools, universities, TVs,
radios and other medias. This should take between six
months to one year and after that a referendum should be
held and people must decide which form of government
they want to choose. During
this period of transition we need a government that is
more neutral, that is not influenced by strong
ideologies and that is reliable and democrat enough to
respect the will of people and hand over the government
to the faction that has won the referendum. Who
can we trust for such a task? The theocrats already have
the power and if they respected the will of people we
wouldn’t have these discussions. The communists by
their very ideology are autocrats and would most likely
not be very happy to sep down if the people speak
against them. They most likely would never call for such
a referendum at all. The monarchists or the aristocrats
ruled our country for many years and the experience
shows that they too would not respect the will of people
or we would not have needed a bloody revolution to
overthrow them. The democrats have a clean record and by
their very nature of being DEMOCRATS they respect the
will of the majority. If any of the other factions sweep
the nation, who would you trust to respect the will of
the people and hand the government without further
struggle? Wouldn’t all of you agree that the democrats
are the most reliable of all to be entrusted to hold the
provisional government of Iran after the fall of IR? The
mandate of this provisional government would be to hold
a national referendum within one year and guarantee the
rights of ALL Iranians to present their proposals and
protect every man and woman in Iran to speak out and
make his pitch freely and without any fear of reprisal. Who
would you trust to create such an atmosphere of freedom
for everyone? I believe the choice is clear. Jebhe Melli
is the only group that can be trusted for such a task
and hand the government to the winner peacefully. The proof is in this BB. Here you find people of all political affiliations and tendencies, yet they all have the same rights and can freely post anything they want and convince the people of the superiority of their agenda. Do we have any similar forums in the sites of the Monarchists, Communists or the Islamists?
